These Terms govern your use of Hilancer. By using the service, you agree to these conditions.
Use of the Service
You must use the service lawfully and comply with applicable policies. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
Integrations with third-party AI assistants
Hilancer lets you connect your account to third-party AI assistants that support the MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard, such as Anthropic's Claude ("AI Assistant"). This feature is optional and available to accounts eligible under your plan.
By connecting an AI Assistant to your Hilancer account:
- You expressly authorize that AI Assistant to access your account with your own permissions, letting it view the information you can already see on the platform (candidates, positions, pipeline, notes, interviews, metrics, and reports) and perform, on your behalf, the actions Hilancer enables for that integration, such as creating or updating candidates, creating or updating positions, assigning candidates, or scheduling and rescheduling interviews. The list of enabled actions may change over time; it never includes deleting data.
- You acknowledge that you control what you ask the AI Assistant to do, and that Hilancer does not supervise or moderate those instructions. Any action the AI Assistant takes on your account is treated as taken by you, including emails the AI Assistant may send to a candidate when scheduling or rescheduling an interview on your behalf — you are responsible for reviewing those actions.
- You agree that your relationship with the AI Assistant's provider (for example, Anthropic) is your own, governed by that provider's terms of use and privacy policy, and separate from Hilancer.
- You can revoke access at any time from Settings → Integrations, or from the AI Assistant's own controls if its provider offers them.
- Hilancer reserves the right to suspend or disable a connected AI Assistant's access, temporarily or permanently, in case of misuse or for security reasons.
Public recruiter portfolio
Hilancer lets you build a public page with your professional recruiter profile (your "portfolio"), reachable by anyone who has the link. By publishing your portfolio:
- It's public: once published, anyone who visits the link can see its content. It's also listed in Hilancer's public sitemap, so it can be indexed by search engines like Google and shared or found freely on the internet.
- You are responsible for the content you publish: it must be truthful information about you and your work as a recruiter. You may not publish third parties' personal data (such as candidates' names or contact details) or confidential client information, unless you have their express authorization to do so. You also may not include misleading claims about your activity, experience, or results.
- You can edit or unpublish it at any time from the portfolio editor in the app (app.hilancer.io/portfolio). Keep in mind that search engines may take some time to reflect those changes, or to drop a page they had already indexed from their results.
- Hilancer may suspend or remove a portfolio that violates these Terms or is reported by someone else. Anyone can report a page using the link available on the portfolio itself, or by emailing support@hilancer.io.
Payments and Subscriptions
Plans may include a free trial. Billing is recurring until cancellation. You can cancel anytime.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. You can stop using the service at any time.
